Friendship's Light

I see a sparkle from afar,
Enough to guide my way,
I travel onward to the light,
Struggling through the day,

 

It was the love of a heart,
A plea sent to God above,
The light was a friend's prayer,
Filled with a devout love.
 


Thank you for the prayer,
That led me upon my way,
It lit the darkest corner,
Of the path I roamed today.
